Tastemakers is an exclusive society within Piedmont Culinary Guild, created to support the Guild’s mission of connecting individuals and communities to local food: the people who grow it, as well as the chefs and artisans who prepare it.

  • Do you have a passion for sustainably grown food?
  • Do you enjoy unique taste experiences?
  • Do you want Charlotte to have a future where a vibrant local food economy helps support a culinary culture?
  • Would you enjoy access to exclusive monthly food and beverage events where you visit different businesses, restaurants or farms and learn about the people leading the charge in the local food movement?
  • Would you enjoy staying informed about the people and places (farms, restaurants, etc.) in our local food community?
  • Would you like a discounted ticket to the annual PCG Food & Beverage Symposium?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, Tastemakers is right for you!

Don’t wait! Only a few memberships remain. Join us in our efforts to build a healthy, vibrant local food economy in the Charlotte region and beyond!

Being a PCG Tastemaker provides vital support in the form of professional and student scholarships, internships, and ongoing development for PCG Professional Members.

Your participation ensures the preservation of our unique flavors of the Piedmont. Without your support for local farms and the independent restaurants and businesses supporting them, the diversity of heirloom vegetables and heritage-breed animals would cease to exist.
